Herbal solutions and support
for healthy living
This lovely tea combines many of the nutritive herbs for supporting a health pregnancy. It has a bright, citrusy flavor that goes down easily. Serve hot or chilled!
POWERFUL INGREDIENTS:
Red Raspberry Leaf: For centuries the herb was recognized as a powerful uterine tonic by Indigenous people throughout the world. Raspberry leaf is well known as a pregnancy supporting tonic, rich nutritive herb, and woman’s health herb. One of Raspberry leaf’s shining qualities is its abundance of nutritive support. It is rich in vitamins and minerals including potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, vitamins B, C, and E. It contains bioflavonoids that tone the circulatory system, tannins that remove harmful invaders from the body, antioxidants, and fragerine alkaloids that work with other constituents to tone and relax pelvic and uterine muscles. Often referred to as a “Woman’s herb,” Raspberry leaf is a uterine tonic and trophorestorative meaning that it increases tone and functionality of the uterine system.
Traditionally, in pregnancy the herb has been used to reduce morning sickness, reduce false labor pains, normalize uterine contractions, ease the birthing process, decrease bleeding after birth, return the uterus to its normal tone and increase the quality of breast milk while nursing.
It can also support regulation of the menstrual cycle, decrease cramping, excess bleeding and/or excess clotting.
Oat straw: Oat straw comes from the stems and leaves of the same plant as the oats we eat for breakfast. It’s a deeply nourishing herb and one of the best for nervous system support, helping to promote relaxed nerves and muscle functioning. Just a cup of an oat straw infusion contains ample amounts of calcium, magnesium, and silica, a trace mineral that promotes collagen production. Oat straw not only promotes a calm nervous system and peaceful adrenals, but it is THE world's highest source of magnesium.
Alfalfa: Alfalfa with its deep root system, contains many essential nutrients including trace minerals, chlorophyll and vitamin K, a nutrient necessary for blood clotting. Many midwives advise drinking mild tasting alfalfa tea or taking alfalfa tablets during the last trimester of pregnancy to decrease postpartum bleeding or chance of hemorrhaging. Alfalfa also increases breast milk production - alfalfa hay is fed daily to milking goats and other dairy animals! It has Vitamin A, D, E and K; particularly good in later pregnancy to boost Vitamin K, which helps prevent postpartum hemorrhage.
Nettle: Nettle leaves are a powerhouse of nutrition, with high iron and calcium contents, as well as an excellent source of folic acid, an essential nutrient during pregnancy. Nettle strengthens the kidneys and adrenals, while it relieves fluid retention. Because nettle also supports the vascular system, it can assist in prevention of varicose veins and hemorrhoids. Postpartum, it increases breast milk production. Nettle tea has a rich, green taste and can be mixed with other herbs.
Lemon Balm: Lemon Balm can be used to fight insomnia and sleeping difficulties. Has a calming effect and helps relieve irritability, insomnia, and anxiety.
Rosehips: Very good source of Vitamin C and helps boost the immune system. Consuming rose hips during pregnancy can help the expecting mother, who is susceptible to various infections, stay healthier and fight infections better naturally.
Instructions for nutritive herbal infusion:
Fill quart size jar with .5 oz of loose tea. Pour boiling water until filled and finger tighten a lid on. DO NOT SHAKE. It can explode. Leave jar on counter over night and strain into clean container then chill in fridge. Sip up to 1 quart throughout the day. Store any leftovers in the fridge up to 24 hours.
CAUTION: Although Raspberry leaf is a very mild, safe, and gentle herb, along with the other herbs in this blend, always consult a midwife or primary care doctor before using herbs during pregnancy. Commonly used after 16 weeks.

Sommer Potter
store owner
My name is Sommer and I am currently the sole owner and operator here at Wildcraft Botanicals. My love for healing began at a young age as I battled childhood leukemia. Inspired by my team of doctors and nurses I wanted to gift that back to people in my adulthood.
Fast forward many years, I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C due to a contaminated blood transfusion from my days fighting cancer. I was given a life sentence by my doctors at that time that I just couldn’t accept. This was the infancy of my learning about herbal health and healing.
Fast forward again, several years of research and application of herbal treatments, I was pregnant for the second time and my lab results showed I was in REMISSION!
I had several follow ups in the following years that in fact showed, I had cured myself of life sentence the doctors gave me.
I now work full time educating and empowering people to learn about the various ways herbs can help support our bodies good health.
Thank you for being here!
